Restorative dentistry
Fillings, inlay/onlay restorations, and preserving your natural tooth in cases of decay or wear.

What is it?
Restorative dentistry covers all procedures aimed at preserving and repairing your natural tooth in cases of decay, fracture, or wear — from classic fillings to inlay and onlay restorations.
Who is it for?
Recommended for anyone with decay, an old discoloured filling, a minor fracture, or tooth wear, where the tooth's root is still healthy — meaning the original tooth can most likely be preserved.
How does it work?
The first step is diagnosis: digital X-ray, and a CBCT scan if needed, to assess the extent of the damage. Smaller lesions can be filled in a single visit; where more tooth structure has been lost, a lab-made inlay or onlay may be the more durable solution.
What to expect afterwards?
A fresh filling may be more sensitive to temperature for a few days, which typically resolves on its own. Your dentist will advise, case by case, when a follow-up check-up is worthwhile.
